Wattages stated are the maximum recommended. However, the lower wattage bulbs are also compatible.

We recently installed the 15" version of this light. It's in a low dormer with a ceiling recess (where a 4' x 4' skylight was previously located). The recess is a little over 3" deep and the fixture is shallow enough that it actually sits above the main part of the dormer ceiling—nice to have that extra headspace!
The light provides clear, uniform illumination. It works well with the dimmer switch our electrician installed. My wife does art in this space, so it was helpful that she could choose the color temperature. (The description says you can set the color temperature at installation, but it doesn't look hard to pop out the plastic shade to tweak that setting later on.)
Note: We originally selected a larger, more expensive light, but it was damaged during shipment. When I went to report the damage, I stumbled on this smaller one that looked more suitable for our space. I mentioned it to the customer support team. They agreed to ship us the round 15" LED light as a replacement for our original light—and promptly refunded the price difference to my credit card.
I wanted to NOT like this light, but so far it’s proven to be a good purchase. Let me explain. It was bought to replace a 25-year-old light in our kitchen. The previous fixture was powder-coated, stamped steel with two circline fluorescent bulbs and an opaque globe—rather heavy and substantial. It mounted directly to the electrical junction box using only two screw, but fit solidly against the ceiling. The new light has an attractive wooden ring as the main body, but the lens is a thin sheet of plastic and the back plate that mounts to the ceiling is extremely thin painted steel—so thin in fact that 6 screws are required to keep gravity from making the light sag. It uses the two junction box screws like the older light, but also requires four others (included) to be screwed into the drywall. This seemed a little dubious and cheap, but I proceeded to install it anyway. Well, the light looks good and produces more light using less energy than the fluorescent it replaced. It obviously was designed to be disposable since the LEDs are directly wired into the light without the ability to be replaced. I guess time will tell if it lasts as long as its predecessor.
Sorry for the delay - my husband and I were once quite handy and we thought there would be no problem installing the three light fixtures we bought. No reflection on the ease of installation of these fixtures but we found it to challenging with our limited mobility so we had an electrican come today and in a matter of minutes had all three installed - love, love, love, them - might have to get a couple more.
The light was easy to install, and the appearance meets my expectations. The big complaint is that the temperature of the light always resets to cool when it is turned off. This is annoying to me.

Regarding the temperature resetting, this fixture is designed to be dimmable, allowing you to adjust both brightness and color temperature. However, it is not compatible with a dimmer switch. To maintain your preferred lighting setting, please use the provided remote control. If operated with a standard wall switch, the light will cycle through warm to daylight and different brightness levels each time it is turned on.

Love the light. Love the look. Easy to install. Oddly, the remote control has buttons that don't match the instructions and don't do anything, including a bluetooth pairing button that does nothing but goof up the other smart light bulbs I have in my house. One other thing I don't love: when you set the light to the temp and brightness you like, it will be that way again only if you use the remote. But if you rely on the switch on the wall, the light will default back to super cool temperature and a bright light. I was hoping the light would keep the same settings if you use the wall switch. These aren't deal breakers, but it's why I'm not giving 5 stars. I also get concerned about how to replace the bulbs, which are just LED and basically "glued" onto the inside of the drum. We'll see how long they last! It is a really good looking light though, and versatile. So I'm basically happy with it.
I looked for so long for these lights. I had a vision but struggled to find anything to match it, until these! They are exactly what I was wanting and they are beautifully huge. The dimming and light control is such a nice perk. Easy to install.
I wish it had been mentioned that there is no way to set the color temperature default on this light, and that there are no operating instructions included for it. The remote control also only appears to have limited functions, which again are not explained in any way.
Cute light but the instructions suck. It just says “fix lamp on the ceiling”
There’s no attachment for the ceiling so you have to make holes for the drywall screws, based on your best guess at the size.
Easy to install. Looks great. I do like that it has multiple light settings. I wish the warm light setting was the one that came on automatically. I just don’t like the incandescent light in the bedroom.
